On the 5th anniversary of the foundation and activity of the foundation, at the request of its Founders, the Council appointed the patrons of the CHILDREN OF AFRICA: Our Lady of Częstochowa - venerated in the image of the Jasna Góra Painting, at whose feet the CHILDREN OF AFRICA meet every year, giving thanks and asking for the necessary graces for the foundation and children on the African continent, and St. Kizito of Uganda - a 14-year-old martyr venerated as the patron saint of children and youth in Africa, whose place of worship the Founders visited in January 2014 in Namugongo. The solemn moment of establishing the patrons took place on June 15, 2014 in Częstochowa, on the eve of the World Day of the African Child. The painting of the Patrons was painted by Vincent Kaggwa in Kampala - the capital of Uganda in 2019 and blessed by Franciscan Father Wojciech Ulman - parish priest in Munyonyo during the 10th anniversary of the foundation.

Intercessory Prayer:

O Mary, Our Lady of Częstochowa, Star of the New Evangelization, look graciously upon your children in this tormented and sinful world. Embrace us with your motherly love and bless the Children of Africa Foundation so that it may help your faithful on the African continent. Preserve your children from all hatred, injustice, discrimination, hunger and war. Fill our hearts with peace and love, the desire for evangelization that come from your Son. O Queen and Mother, be our Guide and Strength, as you showed in the martyrdom of St. Kizito - Patron of the Children of Africa. Amen.

Every year in June in Częstochowa, on the occasion of another anniversary of the foundation's registration and the Day of the African Child, a ceremonial meeting of the Children of Africa is organized, in which missionaries cooperating with the foundation, partners, volunteers and all willing supporters of our organization participate. In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting was canceled.
